Siddharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year’. After this he worked in many films which include films like ‘Kapoor and Sons’, ‘Marjaavaan’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. But he got real recognition from the film ‘Shershaah’.
According to CA Knowledge, today Siddharth Malhotra, who is counted among the big actors of Bollywood, charges Rs 15-20 crores for a film. But do you know about the actor’s first earning?
While speaking at News18’s Rising India Summit, Siddharth talked about his journey to reach Bollywood. He said- ‘This journey has its own difficulties. It was not that easy. I was 20-21 years old when I went for an audition on the recommendation of an agency. He had seen my face in the newspaper.
When Siddharth was asked how he ended up in the newspaper, he said, ‘I used to do fashion modeling and travel, so my picture in designer clothes used to be published in the newspaper. I did an advertisement for Samsung mobile campaign. They wanted a girl and a boy. My first pay check was for Rs 2500 or Rs 3000. This was the value of our time at that time.
Today Siddharth Malhotra has his own house worth crores and luxury cars. If reports are to be believed, the actor is the owner of property worth Rs 105 crore and is living a good life with his wife Kiara Advani.
Talking about the work front, Siddharth Malhotra is currently seen in the film ‘Yodha’. His film is performing very well at the box office.
